Lee ATC and HCTC are partnering to offer Duel Credit BIO 137 Over 30 Lee ATC students are signed up for a college-level Natural Science with a Lab. Amy Wernette, a Professor from Hazard Community and Technical College, developed a hybrid class special for high school students. She broadcasts into the class twice a week so the students get a lecture experience. Once every two weeks, she will do in-person, hands-on labs with the students. This class is a supportive model where she allows Ms. Hope Kelly, Lee ATC instructor and the facilitator for this course, to be inside the Blackboard platform to help track the student's progress. We are excited that so many students have accepted the challenge of this advanced learning opportunity.
