About Mr. Addison

Mr. Addison has been teaching construction for the past 10 years. He and his wife, Michelle, along with their two children, Timothy and Taylor, are lifelong residents of Lee County, where they continue to live and serve the community.

Mr. Addison is a graduate of Lee County High School and a former student of the Lee County Area Technology Center, where he completed the carpentry pathway, earned multiple industry certifications, and was an active member of SkillsUSA. He has five years of commercial construction experience and previously worked for Denham and Blythe and WEHR Constructors.

Following high school, Mr. Addison attended Hazard Community and Technical College, where he earned an associate degree, before completing a bachelor’s degree in Applied Science at Eastern Kentucky University. He also holds a master’s degree in Career and Technical Education from Morehead State University.

Mr. Addison’s favorite class to teach is Floor and Wall Framing. He enjoys working closely with students and teaching hands-on skills that prepare them for real-world careers. He is especially passionate about the leadership component of SkillsUSA and is actively growing leadership opportunities within his program. Outside of the classroom, Mr. Addison enjoys spending time with his family and fishing.
