INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARENT-STUDENT LOGIN

Below are some important tips for technical school parents and student regarding IC student Portal accounts for the ATC. 

FOR PARENTS:

It is important for parents trying to access the Parent Portal for technical schools to make sure they are logging into the correct web address (URL) for the Kentucky Tech Systems IC database, and that they ARE NOT trying to use the web address for the high school. Here is the direct link to the KTS IC Parent Portal Login.

For parents who have NEVER used the KTS IC Parent Portal before:

  • Parents must provide photo identification to the Lee County ATC staff. They will provide you with a GUID number.

  • Parent’s will take the GUID number, go to the KTS IC Parent Portal login, select Campus Parent, then click on the New User hyperlink to enter the Activation Key, then click Submit.

  • Parent will then be prompted to create a username and a password.

  • Remember that passwords are case sensitive.

  • The parent will then be prompted to add an Account Security email address. Add an email address where a link will be sent in the event of forgetting a password or lock out.

For parents who ALREADY HAVE a KTS IC Parent Portal account:

  • ATC Staff can provide your Portal Username if it is not remembered.

  • Parents who have forgotten their password must click on the Forgot Password hyperlink on the KTS IC Parent Portal login page and follow the prompts. An email will be sent the parent’s email address that was previously entered as the Account Security email address.

  • Account Security email addresses can be modified and updated from the User Menu > Settings area of the Parent Porta, after the parent logs in.

  • Parents who continue to experience issues should reach out directly to their student’s technical school for assistance.

FOR STUDENTS:

1. It is important for students trying to access the Student Portal for technical schools to make sure they are logging into the correct web address (URL) for the Kentucky Tech Systems IC database, and that they ARE NOT trying to use the web address for their high school. Here is the direct link to the KTS IC Student Portal Login

  • Student State Identification (SSID) numbers are the student usernames for the KTS IC Student Portal.

  • For the first login, students will use the below format for their password

    • <firstnameinitial><lastnameinitial><MMDDYYdateofbirth> (all lowercase)

  • Student will then be prompted to change their password to one of their choosing.

  • Student will then be prompted to add an Account Security email address.
