A solid end to Riley's breakout freshman year! He placed 18th in the 1600m and 17th in the 3200m at State today.
This caps off a year where he won a Regional cross country championship, placed in the top 50 at state in cross country, was regional runner up in the 1600m and 3rd in the region in the 3200m. Along the way, Riley kept setting new PRs all year as well. Congratulations Riley!

With the high probability of rain in the forecast for tomorrow, the 11th and 12th grade trip to Natural Bridge has been moved to Friday.

What better way to celebrate the last full week of school?

We have had a great week celebrating and recognizing the incredible staff we have at LCMHS! Thank you for everything that you do for our students. One week is not nearly enough to express how thankful we are to have you!

Attention senior students and parents:
Tomorrow, 5/8, Joplin Rice of KHEAA will be at the high school. He will be present to assist with any remaining FAFSA needs or concerns. His workshop will be in the high school library from 1:00 - 3:00PM that afternoon. Any LCMHS senior student or parent is welcome to attend to receive assistance with their FAFSA. If your student is still having any challenges completing this important process, this is a great opportunity to get help from an expert.

Congratulations to these students! They are the 6th & 7th grade winners of the Lee County Conservation District Essay Contest.

This is a reminder that LCMHS will begin state testing tomorrow. Students need to be at school on time and do their best! And now a message from Yoda:

Congratulations to the BatKats on their win over Jackson City.
