Middle School Newsletter- March
This month, we are focusing on the theme of Mindfulness—exploring how being present and aware can enhance our mental well-being, help us manage stress, and improve our overall focus. Mindfulness practices should be incorporated both in and outside the classroom. Take this opportunity to pause, reflect, and make mindfulness a part of our daily lives! Let’s embrace the power of being present and foster a positive, balanced mindset throughout March.
We will be having a Pep Bus for this weeks 56th District Tournament games in Estill Co. We will be taking permission slips tomorrow.

Yesterday was National SRO Appreciation Day but the work and dedication you give to our students and faculty deserves so much more than just a day! As Counselor, of the Lee County Middle School; I strive to support each student by meeting their social, emotional, physical, and academic needs in a safe, friendly, supportive environment. I ensure that all students are equally respected and supported, by being a strong student advocate and building solid staff/student relationships. I am fully vested in the preparation and success of each student.
In honor of School Counseling Week, I wanted to share information regarding the role of a School Counselor, as well as our Middle Schools’ Mission and Vision Statement for the School Counseling Program.
Students in Mrs. Caudill’s 8th grade are discussing poetry. They took words, phrases, and pictures from old magazines. The students then used these words to discover and make their own words and phrases for poems called “Found Poetry.”
