
Good luck to our LadyKats Fast Pitch Team as they open up their season tonight against Breathitt Co.

The Lee County High School E-Sports team has started it's spring season strong. 14 of the top gamers have spent all winter honing their gaming skills, training for the Spring Season. This season, they are competing in three game titles, Super Smash Brothers, Splatoon, and Mario Cart. The season is off to a fast start and our students have prove themselves in competition, sportsmanship, and skill. While they are still early in the season, we expect them to continue winning and show other high schools that they have the knowledge, drive and commitment to finish strong and represent our school with pride. Good luck to the High School E-Sports team and Coach Williamson!!

Lee County Cheerleaders will be competing at tonight's game at Powell where the Bobcats take on the Estill Engineers. Come out and support our teams!


Our HS Girls and Boys Basketball, Cheerleaders and Pride of The Mountains Band went to LCE today for a Pep Rally! It's a Great Day to be a Bobcat!


There will be Fan Buses for our students next week to support our HS Girls and Boys Basketball Teams as they compete in the 56th District Tournament. Our LadyKats play at 6pm on Monday and Bobcats in the second game following the 6pm game on Tuesday. Sign ups will begin Monday morning and ticket cost into the tournament is $10. Space is limited.

Congratulations to our MathCounts Team! They placed second in the regional competition on Saturday and will be competing at state on March 2nd. Max Baker won first place as an individual and his choice of scholarships from Morehead, UK and Western! It's a great day to be a Bobcat!


Come out and support our Lee County Bobcats and LadyKats as they take on the Powell County Pirates. The Bobcats will tipoff at 6:00 with the LadyKats game starting around 7:30. Tickets may be purchased through GoFan or at the door with card or cash.

Attention Lee County families of 12th grade students. Next Tuesday, January 30th, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM, a free FAFSA workshop will be provided. KHEAA representative Joplin Rice will be present to help answer any questions associated with the FAFSA process. This event will be held at the high school library. Please make sure that an FSA ID has been created by both any student and any parent or guardian providing information on the form. Friday, January 26 - The Bobcats and LadyKats will be traveling to Owsley County to take on the Owsley County Owls. Game time starts at 6:00.

The game tonight between Lee County Bobcats / LadyKats and the Powell County Pirates that was to be played at Powell has been cancelled. We will be posting an updated schedule as soon as all of the district games can be rescheduled.

Congratulations to the High School Academic Team on their performance at district competition today. In math, Kaison Phillips placed 3rd and Jesse Drake placed 2nd. In Science, Kaison Phillips placed 1st. In Social Studies, Joe Napier placed 4th. In Language Arts, Allyson Bowling placed 5th and Emily Phillips placed 3rd. In Arts and Humanities, Emily Lutes placed 5th. In English Composition, Dylan Noe placed 5th, Emily Phillips placed 4th, and Charlie Lyons placed 3rd. The Future Problem Solving team, made up of Joe Napier, Rylee Phillips, Logan Smyth, and Dylan Noe, placed 1st. The Quick Recall team placed 1st. The team also received the Hume Sportsmanship award. All of this adds up to the team placing 1st overall, which is the first time Lee County’s High School Academic Team has placed 1st overall at districts since 1998.
All of these students will advance to regional competition next month!
