Lee County will be hosting the 56th District Basketball Tournament February 21-24. We are in the process of developing the program for the district tournament. If any business, candidate, or parent of senior athlete would like to purchase an ad to be included in the program, please contact Michelle Estes at michelle.estes@lee.kyschools.us by Thursday February 10.

Congrats to Coach Perdue and the Bobcat Archery Team. The team finished second at North Laurel on Saturday with their high score this year of 3153.
Baylee Fox placed 4th and Kory Napier placed 5th overall in the boy’s division. Maggie Johnson placed 4th and Shaelyn Frye placed 10th in the girl’s division.

The High School Academic Team competed in the Governor's Cup District tournament this on Saturday with a lot of success.
The Future Problem Solving Team placed 2nd.
Maggie Durbin placed 1st in English Composition.
Jesse Drake placed 4th in Science.
Joe Napier placed 4th in Social Studies and 3rd in Arts and Humanities.
Emily Philips placed 3rd in Language Arts and 4th in English Composition.
Rylee Phillips placed 5th in Language Arts.
Frank Drake placed 1st in Arts and Humanities.
The team also placed 2nd overall for the tournament. All of the students above will be advancing to regions in three weeks at Hazard High School.
