Congrats to Coach Perdue and the Bobcat Archery Team. The team finished second at North Laurel on Saturday with their high score this year of 3153. Baylee Fox placed 4th and Kory Napier placed 5th overall in the boy’s division. Maggie Johnson placed 4th and Shaelyn Frye placed 10th in the girl’s division. Way to go Archery Team!!! BOBCATS 4 LIFE!!!

Congratulations to Coach Chris Noe and the Bobcats Academic Team. The High School Academic Team competed in the Governor's Cup District tournament this on Saturday with a lot of success. The Future Problem Solving Team placed 2nd. Maggie Durbin placed 1st in English Composition. Jesse Drake placed 4th in Science. Joe Napier placed 4th in Social Studies and 3rd in Arts and Humanities. Emily Philips placed 3rd in Language Arts and 4th in English Composition. Rylee Phillips placed 5th in Language Arts. Frank Drake placed 1st in Arts and Humanities. The team also placed 2nd overall for the tournament. All of the students above will be advancing to regions in three weeks at Hazard High School. Way to go Academic Team!!! BOBCATS 4 LIFE!!!

The Bobcats will be playing tonight against Letcher County Central. JV game will begin at 6 and the Varsity game will be starting at 7. Good luck Bobcats!!

Breathitt, Lee, and Wolfe County Schools will be working together to financially assist tornado relief efforts in Dawson Springs, KY for students in that school district. On Friday, January 21, 2022, a basketball doubleheader will take place at Wolfe County High School in which all admission sales and any donations will be donated to the Dawson Springs School District Family Resource Center to be directly used for families in need following their losses due to the recent tornado damage in their community. At 5:45 pm, the Lee County Lady Cats will take on the Wolfe County Lady Wolves followed by a match-up featuring the Wolfe County Wolves taking on the Breathitt County Bobcats at 7:45. We would like to THANK the Coaches, Teams, School Administrators, School Board Members, and community members of all three counties for their efforts in this endeavor. We are glad that we can be of assistance to our neighbors and friends in Western Kentucky. Students and their families in that area have been through a traumatic experience and we want to help them in any way we can. Please try to attend the game tomorrow and do your part in helping us help them.

The Middle School Academic Team competed in District competition today and Emily Barrett placed third in math and fifth in Arts and Humanities. Emily will be advancing to compete in Regions next month. Way To Go Emily!!! BOBCATS 4 LIFE
