Weslyn McIntosh place 5th in the 1600 in 5:29 and 4th in the 800m in 2:28. Both school records. Both top 5 in state and #1 in the region
Trinity Asher placed 4th in shot put and 7th in discus.
Destiny Thompson placed 16th in the 100m
Serenity Cornett placed 16th in the 1600m. Serenity ran a 3:00 800m as well. 3rd in school history.

Everyone needs to have a current physical! And I will be passing out index cards for parents to fill out.
Next open gym will be Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 and then gymnastics will follow 7:15-8:15. You all can meet Nicole and see how gymnastics works. I encourage anyone wanting to try out to join class to help build skill.

The Lee County Middle High School class of 2025 is selling Country Meats beef jerky from now until the end of the month to start raising money for their senior trip. They have a variety of flavors to choose from and would gladly appreciate your support. If you are interested and want to support the class of 2025, contact a sophomore student and get your order in.

Lee County Middle High School will have our Spring Open House on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Parents will be able to pick up Term III Progress Reports and discuss student academic needs with Teachers. We hope to see each of you there.
There will be a Cheer meeting on Tuesday March 14 from 4-5:00 for any student 7-12th grade interested in cheer to discuss the tryout process and other information.
