LCMHS Middle School Yearbook
Good afternoon! Middle School yearbooks went on sale this week. The price is $27 with the option to purchase 8th grade spotlight pages. Quarter pages are $10, ½ pages are $15 and whole pages are $20. Students brought information home on Monday regarding the yearbook and spotlight pages and we have received many orders already. Unfortunately, Ms. Chrisman did need the information for the spotlight pages by the end of the school day today as the information said but you can still order the books online. If you are still interested in ordering, time is rapidly running out. Please do so by midnight tonight by going online to http://store.shopyearbook.com/lee-county-middle-high-school and following the instructions found there using your debit or credit card information. The yearbooks will be here mid-summer and you will receive another one call with instructions for pick up when they are ready! Thank you for your continued support!

Lee County Middle High School Senior Graduation

Lee County Middle High School 8th Grade Graduation.

Today, Mr. Noe’s AP World History class finished up a year long project with their pen pals from Tampico, Mexico today by having a zoom meeting with them to get to see everyone and discuss their schools with each other. The students have enjoyed it all year long and getting to see similarities and differences with school and daily life with students from another country. Also, a big shoutout to Mr. Gram Durbin for getting this organized and actively guiding the students through the process.

The tennis team recognized Faith Hernandez before their match against Letcher County on Tuesday. Faith just joined tennis this year and is the team's only senior. We are really proud of her for trying something new and making such big improvements throughout the season. We wish her the best as she graduates and will miss her sweet personality and great attitude!

The University of the Cumberlands ESports Team stopped by to set up during lunch to demonstrate how Esports works at the college level and talk to students about scholarship opportunities. Students were excited to see an example of ESports beyond High School and that there are opportunities for them to continue on in their careers after graduating high school.
A big thanks to former Lee County graduate Budge Cox, a current UC ESports player, and the UC coaching staff for stopping by giving this demonstration for our kids!

The Lee County High School Beta Club delivered items to the Hope Lodge in Lexington today. Thank you to everyone who donated!

Congratulations to Cody Lumpkins for signing with University of the Cumberlands for bowling.

Message from Coach Summer concerning HIGH SCHOOL Cheer:
We will have a cheer meeting Monday from 5-6 at the high school for anyone interested in cheering this upcoming season. Parents are encouraged to attend. We will go over expectations and practices. I will leave a sign up sheet at the high school office so anyone who is unable to attend can still sign up. We will keep that sign up sheet open until our first practice.
